Hi there strangers! I have been so busy the last couple of weeks it has been impossible to post.
1. It was my graduation ceremony last Wednesday & it was a very weird & emotional experience, knowing that this would be potentially the last time I would be in Preston, the very end of university & the last time seeing some of the styling girls! It was strange & overwhelming knowing that this certificate was the thing I had worked so hard for, for three years. Now it's all over I feel really quite lost & bewildered about the next move (photos will follow soon)!
2. Saying that, I did start my Visual Merchandising internship last Monday & I'm really enjoying it! I've been mainly shadowing the team which has been really interesting, but they've also given me some individual projects to do which is great!
3. It's been a pretty emotional week to say the least, along with getting used to the commute into London & the job itself, I've been applying for jobs like mad & getting rejections left, right & centre which is proving really emotionally hard to deal with. I guess I was a little naive leaving uni to think I'd get a job straight away, but I guess I just have to keep going/applying & stay positive!
4. One potentially really exciting thing though is that if I can't get a job that would be a break into the fashion industry, I'm planning on moving to Australia (hence the image above) for 4-6 months next year which will be in-cred-ib-le! But we'll just have to wait & see I guess won't we!?
